The F-86 also know as the SabreJet is America’s first swept wing jet. It was developed primarily to counter the similar shaped Soviet Mig-15 in dogfights over the skies of the Korean War. It was developed and produced extensively and became the most produced western jet fighter of its era. It served air to air combat as well as bombing and ground attack missions. After decades of use, many countries adopted this fighter as their primary attack aircraft.
The ArtTech F-86 is one of the smallest electric ducted fan model jets in the world. Constructed of durable EPO foam it delivers superb flight performance in both low and high speeds. The delicate painting scheme, vivid appearance, and bright colors give it a strong presence in the air. A high efficient C-1225 brushless motor and 30mm ducted fan provides enormous thrust to weight ratio which gives this jet excellent aerobatic capability performing loops, rolls, and inverted flight with ease. The jet is configured with easy to remove landing gear and wings that are affixed with magnets which allows the fuselage to detach in the event of a crash. This prevent extensive damaged if you happen to come in for a hard landing. The canopy is also removable to provide quick access to the battery compartment for quick swaps. Under the 18in wingspan swept wings lies scale auxillary tanks to give the jet a more scale appearance.
This ready to fly version comes with a 2.4ghz radio system. The electronics are pre-installed which allows for minimal and quick assembly straight out of the box.
